Missouri Hockey Leagues

  


      
Missouri Hockey Youth Division offers 2 USA Hockey Tier II leagues, Gateway Recreational Hockey League (GRHL) and travel, for youth players to participate in. Players from mini-mite thru Midgets are eligible to play in the GRHL and travel leagues.

8 and Under (Mite and Mini-Mite)

The 8 and under program provides an entry point for new players which to enjoy the game of ice hockey.  The program scales down the playing surface and equipment and focuses on building player skills and having fun.  The program is based on the USA Hockey Red, White and Blue ADM Model.

Travel
The travel league provides a competitive league for skilled players of various levels. The league consists of approximately 140 plus teams from clubs across St. Louis, Kansas City, Southern Illinois, Central Missouri, and Springfield Missouri.


GRHL
The Greater Recreational Hockey League  is designed for new players to the game of ice hockey, players wishing to play recreationally and players still developing their skills. The league consists of approximately 80 plus teams from clubs across the St. Louis area.



AAA Blues
AAA Blues provides an extremely competitive league for the highly skilled player. AAA Blues play an independent schedule and in the Mid America Hockey League against teams from across the nation.



CSDHL
Central States Development Hockey League (CSDHL) provides a very competitive league for the advanced skilled player. CSDHL consist of teams from St. Louis, Chicago Illinois, Madison Wisconsin, Peoria Illinois, Indianapolis Indiana and Omaha Nebraska.



Logo USA Hockey determines playing divisions based on the players age and date of birth. Each age division spans 2 years and is applicable to both Tier I and Tier II. See the table below for the current age classifications.
