Rescheduling Games
To change, postpone or cancel a game outside of electronic scheduling dates you must
- Email your age division commissioners and cc brynawilliams@mohockeyyd.org to get the schedule change approved.
- After commissioner approval, request the change through MoHockey crossbar reschedule process. The instructions for this step are below.
When you request a change through this process the system will notify your opponent, if they accept the change, it will then be automatically sent to the league administrator for approval and scheduling.

The option to ADD A GAME is not yet available through the Crossbar rescheduling process but is coming soon. Until then, please submit game additions using the google form linked below.
Last Minute Game Cancellations and Changes
If you are changing or cancelling an existing game with less than 3 days, IN ADDITION TO THE CROSSBAR RESCHEDULE PROCESS, you must change/ cancel REFS through MIHOA's Game Officials Request Form. Emails and calls WILL NOT be accepted.
Cancellations with Assigned Officials:
If all officials have been assigned to a game and the game is subsequently cancelled, the service fee will be charged.
Cancellations Less than 24 Hours Before Game:
If all officials have been assigned to a game and the game is subsequently cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the service fee and game fees will be charged.
GameSheets
The youth division will be transitioning over to GameSheets this season for scoring. This is an online scoring system. Visit their website and FAQs page to learn more about the system.
- Clubs will Coordinate the use of iPads teams will use to during games (primarily home games)
- The scoring platform app is available only on iPads. There are other GameSheets apps to follow leagues/tournaments that are available on the phone but the scoring app is currently only on iPads. (See FAQs page listed above for more info)
- The GameSheets website has resources for scorekeepers here and will be holding weekly live trainings for scorekeepers. Tom Woolf, the state coodinator for GameSheets has also created a reference video linked below.
- Clubs will provide gametime support as needed to teams.

Travel Permits
Missouri Hockey requires teams traveling out of the immediate St. Louis area to obtain a travel permit from the Missouri Hockey registrar. Travel permits are required for all tournaments and all practice, friendship and exhibition games if one of the teams playing is not a Missouri Hockey League team. Travel permits are not required for Missouri Hockey League games.
By applying for a Missouri Hockey travel permit the applicant, coaches, and team agree to abide by the federal health guidelines and regulations in force at the time and location of the event.
Travel Permit Costs
21 days or more in advance of travel - $12.00
8-20 days in advance of travel - $25.00
7 days or less in advance of travel - $50.00
FAILURE TO OBTAIN A TRAVEL PERMIT WILL RESULT IN $100 FEE PER INCIDENT and the possibility of additional Rules and Discipline action.

Patches
USA Hockey provides award patches for players participating in games during the fall hockey season. Patches are limited to one of each patch per player per season.
Hat Trick Award – For a player scoring three goals in a game.
Playmaker Award – For a player registering three assists in a game.
Zero Club Award – For a goalkeeper playing a complete game without allowing a goal. Goalkeeper must play the entire game to receive the award.
Qualifications
- The recipient is a registered player.
- The game was in league competition (this includes declaration and regular season games, but NOT exhibition or friendly games) or a sanctioned tournament involving registered USA Hockey teams.
- The game was officiated by a registered USA Hockey Referee.
- A copy of the score sheet is supplied to Mo Hockey with the request form.
- Limit of ONE of each award, per player, per season.
