YD League Information & Dates
The Youth Division 2024-2025 Season will include 4 Leagues:
Youth Division
Youth Division Midgets
Tier II Central States
Tier I AAA
Each League will have one or more season segment with its' own dates and unique set up, visit your league page for specific details.
The Youth Division League includes 10U, 12U and 14U teams that will play in A1-C3 playing levels.
The Youth Division Midget League includes 16U and 18U teams playing in the AA and A playing level.
The Tier II Central States League includes the Central States AA teams.
The Tier I League includes the AAA (AAA Blues and AAA Car Shield) teams in the 9U-18U age divisions.
Declaration Season
Declaration season is played to determine what playing level teams should be placed in for the Youth Division Regular Season league play. 10U, 12U and 14U teams will participate in the Declaration Season.
There will be 3 Phases:
Phase 1 - 10U - Sept. 17th - Oct. 11th - teams play 3 games against opponents of their choice.
12U & 14U - Sept. 20th - Oct. 22th - teams play 4 games against opponents of their choice.
Phase 2 - Squirt 10U Declaration Festival Weekends
Oct. 12th - Oct. 13th - 10U C3, C2, C1 and B3 teams will play games as assigned by the MAIHA-YD Commissioners. Game hosts TBD.
Oct. 19th- Oct. 20th - 10U B2, B1, A3, A2 and A1 teams will play games as assigned by the MAIHA-YD Commissioners. Game hosts TBD.
Phase 3 - Oct. 23rd - Oct. 26th- Teams may be asked to play additional games by commissioner to determine final team placement.
Regular Season
Commissioners will provide game formats following final team placements on October 28th.

Feb 7th - 9th - Blue Note Playdown Games (Midget 18UAA & 16UAA. 16U A)
Feb. 20th - 23rd - Blue Note Playdown Games (10U, 12U, 14U)
March 1st & 2nd - Blue Note Cup Championship Games at Centene
March 1st & 2nd - Blue Note Cup 6U/8U Festival at Maryville Ice Center
